Day 21 of the challenge, only 9 days to go,  and we’re spot on target. 3 individuals have put a lot of effort and we would love to see more of you involved, even if it’s just a little bit, it all adds up!

Check the blog to see who’s leading the distance table and the list of all the activities. The fundraising is still going slow, so help this great charity by getting sponsored, looking under the sofa for loose change or checking if you didn’t buy a bitcoin in 2010!

We finally reach Switzerland (country #7) last week and it looks like Dave B. and Dan M. swapped the bike over the border from Germany. Dave B. was again on the bike when we arrived in Liechtenstein (country #8) and Claudia N. was the one to enter our penultimate destination, Austria (country #9). Who will be the one to cross the Alps and take us to our final destination, Italy? The suspense is killing me!

Twelve days into the challenge and 17 individuals have taken part so far to reach 839km. That’s over 1/3 of the total distance, just a little bit short of where we should be but we’re not doing so well on the fundraising, so time to feel generous J

The One Minute Challenge added 15km to the tally and it’s actually the event that we crossed into the Netherlands (country #4). Derek got us through Maastricht, symbolic for the European Treaty of 1992. Claudia was on the bike again when we entered Luxembourg (country #5) but it was Dave B who cycled passed our Luxembourg head office on Tuesday 21st! Jordan cycled into Germany (country #6) and we are now on our way to the Russelsheim office.

One Minute Challenge Results

Well done and thank you to all who took part, and endured one minute of hell. The results are in and Nawaf wins a box of chocolate, along with Jose P who won the raffle!

The Big cycling Challenge Fundraiser - Update #2

What a fantastic start to the cycling challenge. Claudia and Derek are fighting for top spot and we’ve seen a total of 14 individuals taking part so far, well done all!

Alex started off from the UK (Country 1) London office and it was Paula who entered the Channel Tunnel. Derek then did most of the crossing while I, quite fittingly, entered France (Country 2). Derek was on the bike again as we crossed into Belgium (Country 3). We’re now on our way to the Netherlands with Daniel getting us through Ghent and Claudia through Antwerp.

Tomorrow, Tuesday 14-Nov, don’t forget the Minute Challenge!

The Big cycling Challenge Fundraiser - Update #1

As we enter day 3 of the challenge, at some point today we will cross over the channel into France, but who will it be? Go on, have a go!
Check the leader board and see who’s currently leading.

The Challenge

Welcome to the official Syniverse London charity cycle challenge 2017!

This November 2017, the Syniverse London office will attempt to cycle the distance from London to Florence, via 10 EU countries, on a static bike. The total distance is 2202 km / 1368 miles and will be shared amongst employees taking part during 6 weeks.

We will set off from the London office and go through France, Belgium, and the Netherlands before a quick stop at our Luxembourg office. Then going east to Germany via our Russelsheim office, south through France, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria and finaly Italy!

All profits will go towards the amazing Haven House charity we have elected to support again this year.
What bike? The Wattbike

To achieve such a great challenge, we need a great bike. Introducing the Wattbike.

It can be adjusted to fit all, will log your speed, distance, cadence, power output and even heart rate if wearing a compatible strap!
